Altered Alice dasinfwoefaosdjvaorgnasdg (Nonsense text)

I must have been channeling the Altered Alice Challenge Coordinator this month because this month's "Text as Nonsense" challenge is perfect for me!!!

And NOT because my blog is always full of nonsense text either!!! 

I created a centre table piece for my girlfriends annual Halloween/birthday party called Meloween! 

Here is the history:

Mel and I met 24 years ago when we were on tour with a youth Theatre group performing Alice in Wonderland Theatre show across two states of Australia. 

I was the White Rabbit, she was the Mouse. We have been close friends ever since. She still calls me 'Rabbit'. She is stored in my phone as 'Mouse'.

I am chief interior designer this year for her annual party at Halloween time! Woooo!

I chose the White Rabbit from the Octopode Factory... gotta love Lily's work. She is a amazing!

So I flipped one of the rabbits, printed them both off twice and made two back to back rabbits, joining them in the centre by cutting half up from the bottom on one, and half down from the top on the other... OOOOhhh y'all know what I mean.... (Please note: THAT was nonsense blog text!)

Then the 'text' part of this challenge was an easy choice... 

For twenty odd years now I have been spring cleaning thinking, "WHAT AM I KEEPING THIS SILLY OLD THING FOR!!!!?" and I have finally got my answer: For this. It is my original script from the theatre production. 

Mel loves old text books and collectibles and has been hounding me for years to find this script it and give it to her. 20 years of my lame excuses and I'm finally out. 

I found it.  So I am going to give it to her... piece by piece.... LOL!!!! 

I cut the large clock face out of Teresa's Sophisticated Cart.

I cut an extra piece of the feet of the rabbit, folded them out as a stand. I cut a cross into Teresa Collins paper. I threaded him through the cross holes so that he sat perfectly above the paper. (Literally, he went through a Sophisticated rabbit hole! Lewis Caroll would be proud).
 
Thanks to Altered Alice for such a fun and personalised nonsense text challenge!  This will remind her party guests to forget time and have a great time instead.

And he stares at the party people from all angles. 

I am going to LOVE watching drunk party goers at 3 am begin to get weirded out by the rabbit on the table staring at them with a clock in his head. One of the few benefits of being a relatively sober person!
