Metal Challenge Frosted Designs! Plus Prizes!!

At Frosted Designs this week, there is a challenge for using metal and I got excited because there is something quirky I always wanted to try with Metal.
What do you think is in the bottom left hand corner?

That's right, a coke can. I am feeling a little ill typing this because I don't normally drink coke, but I was willing to drink a can to try my experiment:

I was worried for my sizzix but it said to me, "Hey, I'm a Big Shot - I can handle it!"

Well, that was fun!
So I used the diamond plate underneath the wheel which I cut out of Accent Essentials. Then also cut outwards from the inner circle so it looked like spokes.
I used the bottom of the can as an embellishment for the journalling and added some cute metal brads I had.
StazOn works really well when you want to ink metal.
The font is called Craftmans Capssk. You can find it on lots of free font sites.
Then I used the Pentel Outline marker to add silver metal look to the tools in the font and outline the whole layout.
I wish I had some thin metal that Me n Miss Pink Cricut is giving away in Cheap Chirpin Tuesday today! That would have been perfect!

I was so excited also to wake to find I had 96 followers today - Nearly 100!!! So I have ordered some cartridges and other prizes as a celebration giveaway and have planned a very fun challenge! Stay tuned to my blog for more details and thank you to all my gorgeous followers who stop by and comment every so often. You make my day!

Don't forget that there is a cartridge and other prizes to be won this week on my blog - click here for more details - I hope one my followers wins it!

Congratulations to all the new Design Team Members for Frosted Designs, I can not wait to see your awesome inspirations.
Thanks again for a fun challenge!
