I got lucky at Scrappy Go Lucky!

I fully recommend everyone follows and joins the Scrappy Go lucky community. I have been sent the BEST prize from Scrappy Go Lucky...

Elegant Edges Cart (HOT!)
180 pack of 12x12 antique dot sheets of My Minds Eye paper!
Tim Holtz Steampunk range of Embossing Folders
Tim Holtz tissue tape and
Heaps of Candi dots!

All this for just re-posting about a competition they were running and adding a blinkie! They often have fun competitions, their blog is full of tutorials and GOOD cricut related information and above all, it is a company that really looks after loyal customers. I know I am sounding like a sales rep again, but when you find something good it's worth sharing.

Thanks Mandy at Scrappy-Go-Lucky!

Scrappy Go Lucky have been Peachy-fied! Celebration Giveaway!

I'm thrilled to be celebrating the arrival of the cute Peachy Keen stamps at Scrappy-go-Lucky this week!

I got so excited when I heard about them becoming available online in Australia, I made Mandy from Scrappy-go-Lucky a special present:

Mandy is going to frame it for the wall of her upcoming studio!

This week at Scrappy-go-Lucky is giving away a set of YOUR CHOICE of Peachy Keens!! Just comment under this post about which Peachy Keen Stamp set you want to win and also write it's price from the Scrappy-go-Lucky store.  Click here to go to the store and have a browse for your favourite

I love the Retro paper doll faces for $14 (on page 2) they are just so cute!

For my layout for Scrappy-go-lucky I was determined to used every stamp I had... I own 5 sets of Peachy Keens: Wide eyed Kids, Boy Mates, Simple Simons, Everyday faces and Animal faces and I barely used half of my stamps completing this layout. I ran out of room!

One set is so versatile for all different characters, all you have to do is test it, and try it!

See the dinosaur in this layout, I used a Boy Mates face for him. Just layout your shape, cut a scrap piece of paper so it masks out the pieces of the stamp you don't want for that picture and then stamp as usual. Carefully take away the scrap and you are left with the image you want.
There are a few ways you can remove the extra cuts that the Cricut makes so you can use the stamps. You can use  the BLACKOUT function and cut the shape, which is what I did with all my paper dolls:

Or you can use Design Studio or the Gypsy HIDE functions to hide certain parts. The Hide function in the Gypsy is in the Advanced tab. .

And then you select the parts of the picture (until it turns red) and push hide to hide it.
Cut out your shape and then stamp on your Peachy Keens!

The Peachy Keen are great value because you can use them for a WIDE range of characters... not just the ones the packet says... I've put mine on:
 Crayons
 Flowers
Aliens

I've even brought buckets and brushes to life!
And...  I've even been a little bit naughty with them.

Lol. STILL laughing.

I KNOW I'm sounding like a sales rep!!! eek! But I'm just a happy, satisfied customer who believes in great products. When you win your set, you'll see why!

So Click here to go to the store and have a browse for your favourite.  Come back, make a comment on which set you'd love to own and it's price! Good Luck! I can't wait to see your creations!

Pop back tomorrow and see my new awesome storage system for my stamps too! You will LOVE it!  Of course, I'd love if you followed me, I'll follow you too - I can not get enough of inspirational scrappers!

Phew... I hope your scroll button doesn't jam! xx

Jacob wants to be a Campin Critter!

While exploring the Campin Critters cartridge for my Something Someone Sunday post, Jacob made himself a backpack and blog hop journal from the cartridge!
And now YOU can win the chance to have Jacob as YOUR scrap assistant in YOUR scrapping area for two weeks!!!

He is super helpful:

Jacob, myself and Me n Miss Pink Cricut are interviewing fun scrappers with a great sense of humour to go on a HOT BLOG HOP around the world and here is how you can apply:

1.Leave a comment under this post saying how Jacob can help you in your scrap room!   Your application will be approved by us and three local non-blogging scrappers based on a fun answer, if we can't agree, we'll random.org it!
2. Read and agree to the requirements of being a Hot Blog Hop host.

Requirements to be a Hot Blog Hop Host:
1. When Jacob arrives, make him feel at home in your scrap room. Post at least one photo on your blog and link back to my blog so I can see where he is and what he is helping you with.
2. Scrap one small page in his small Blog Hop Journal about his stay.
3. On my blog will be a Hot Blog Hop Button which will link to your blog so followers can see what Jacob has been up to.
4. Add a very small, light piece of local memorabilia (eg. postcard) to his postbox or journal page.
5. Pay postage of Jacob to the next person after two weeks. (We will try and map the easiest route around the world to save postage).

Five lucky winners will have the chance to have the Hot Blog Hopper come and camp in their scrap room!

Comment by 31st March and join our fun! There will also be prizes for followers along the way!
