I love a challenge and over at Jitterbuggin there is a non traditional Valentines challenge on this week... Make a valentines with no red or pink!
My son was reflecting on the messages in Toy Story 3 and he wanted to know where his freshly washed teddies were going in the laundry... (oh no, he has seen them!!) so we had a talk about what we could do. He wanted me to make sure they went to a little girl like in Toy Story 3 at the end. *sigh* So cute.
So, seeing this challenge, I made little tags for two of the teddies, with a little love poem. I strayed from the sketch a bit! On Valentines day, which is my other son's birthday, we are going to deliver these teddies into two local shops and sit them on the counter, free to a good home.
Oh so cute. I love that my son has developed a real sense of empathy already. He will be an awesome citizen in society at this rate.
So you if you see a little cuddly toy on a counter in your local shop, pick him up and find a home for him.
Thanks again for a great challenge Jitterbuggin!
Also, make sure you check out the post below for some Cheap Chirpin Tuesday fun!
