Jacob - the most travelled scrap assistant ever!

 

Jacob was returned by USA Postal customs and flew all the way back to Carlene's house! What a surprise and he made a quick visit with her scrap assistant Edward!

(Maybe it's that little koala again, Donna!)

Or Maybe his Working Visa wasn't up to date. lol. 

But never fear, Erin, Jacob and his Clip on Koala are back in the post and on his way to Hawaii now!

Cheap Chirper #4 for May is: Post-its!

There's a new trend in cute post-it notes and they make EXCELLENT tabs and journaling boxes for your layouts!

I found these in Big W for only $2 and they could be used for one great matching layout, then use the rest of them for household duties!

As soon as I find a moment to myself, I am entering Whimsical Wednesday's 'Back to Basics' challenge of a cricut-less page with some old school scrapping technology such as rub ons/stickers/etc. I am using some post-its tabs on my layout! Stay tuned!

My Everyday Hero Superman!

I love my everyday hero, Dean. He LOVES being in his Superman top. We have about four tops which get cycled through the wash and it is a rare day he doesn't wear it. 

While I was sorting my photos and noticing ALL of Dean's photos feature the Superman costume, I also came upon an old Gary Larson Calendar which was bought for me by a very special girlfriend in 1999. 

So to remind me of both those memories, I used "March" to create this layout.

I am entering it in Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Me Monday #60 - Add a rectangle and a triangle. When I started this layout I thought, "It is the most famous triangle ever!"

 But then when I cut it, I realised it is a diamond-type-wanna-be-triangle. OOPS!
So I used the new i-rock colours to bling up some gaps with real-true-non-wanna-be-triangle shapes.

I was given the Superman cartridge when I just started my Cricut affair over a year ago by Mandy from Scrappy Go Lucky. I LOVE this cart so much. 

Even if you don't have a Superman-Obsessed boy like me, you can get plenty from it and the font is worthy! 

Gary Larson is always good for a giggle.

Just when I am getting a little bit more up to date with the layouts and albums, the kids keep doing cute things worthy of the camera shot and another layout... here is my Drew asleep last night... Oh so cute.
