I haven't had much time in the last few days for scrapping. There's cool challenges I wanted to enter and blog fun to be had, but I have been traveling about and busy with all kinds of things... Life Happens. But I don't feel right if I don't create something often. So I made myself a little uplifting gift to sit on my cupboard. The next few weeks ahead are a little daunting, a lot on my plate, so I wanted to remind myself of what I believe in and that I can do it.

It was just a quick easy cricut fix, using a gorgeous stamp from  www.stitchystamps.blogspot.com called Sparkles. And I love her picture so much. It is something I say to myself often, as I am a 'can do' person who can sometimes get too much on my plate, but I get through it, I survive and I smile. I wouldn't swap any of it for the world. Speaking of smiles:

I'm glad our Jacob Hot Blog Hop is underway. Everyone loves a good laugh.

Check out Erin's post for a giggle here!

And then Carlene's post here!

Poor Jacob, squished into a postbag in some postal trolley right now. lol.

Haunted House Designs Macabre Monday!

Laughter is the best medicine and cheaper than revenge! That's my theory for entering this week's Macabre Monday at Haunted House Designs.

My husbands snoring has been so bad lately I think the little voices in my head are beginning to talk to me, Lol. Lack of sleep really plays with a person's sense of wellbeing.

So I made him a little card for his pillow tonight.

So he can sleep with one eye open all night and step into my sleepless slippers for a while.

I was so excited to find out yesterday that I had won last week's Dastardly Diva challenge, and a gift voucher to one Barbara Jensen's stores. You should really check out her work here at her store for digital stamps.

I was already working on my Haunted Design House entry, when I saw Barb's stamps and my card started to look LAME!!!!

So I used one of the images I won. This little cutie is called Bashful. Barb speedily sent it to me yesterday and I got working in PhotoShop and Publisher hacking up clip pictures of a bed and a man, splattering it all in cyber blood underneath Miss Bashful.

Thanks for a fun challenge. I also won a really hot image by Barb called BAD GIRL!!! I can't wait till Haunted Design House posts a challenge I can use that stamp for! HAWT!!!

3 more days left in my Smile Challenge to win a Zooballoo cart and matching Peachy Keens!

HELP NEEDED!!! Where is the UGLY paper challenge?????

While surfing around in blog world the other day meeting new and inspiring crafters I remember seeing an UGLY PAPER challenge that I NEED to do!!!!  I have some ugly award winning paper that needs to be made into something with love and banished from my house!

I know right! Enough said.

Can you help me find that challenge???
SURELY one of my blogging buddies has seen it!

and a quick message from my Xyron holder:
Today is the last day you can apply for this "hot chunk of plastic" to come help you in your scraproom...

On his map so far, he has covered the United States, a stop over in Hawaii and he is scooting across Australia...

Where are the UK entries???
What about the rest of the world???
What's the matter United Kingdom ladies?
Am I too HOT for you?

Look! My ears are in proportion to my head!
Although not a royal trait,
in some countries is it considered sexy!

Or are all the UK ladies TEAM EDWARD???

Do I really have to pull out the old "Save the Koala" spiel??

Ok then...

If not for me, do it for the cute koala
He is an endangered species and needs to see the world!

C'mon!!!!

There is one more day!

Carlene and I are so excited! Carlene made it to 100 followers and I'll be celebrating 200 followers before we even give away the 100 follower prize at this rate! Make sure you check out our prizes! Mine HERE and Carlene's HERE

Cheap Chirpin Tuesday is now more fun! Next week when we draw the winner, it will be Cheap Chirpin CHOOSEday. Thanks to the ridiculous posting prices between Australia and overseas, if a person outside Australia wins it, they get to choose a CARTRIDGE or a set of PEACHY KEEN STAMPS!!!

If an Aussie wins it, they can either choose the cartridge, PK stamp set or ALL the Cheap Chirpers for the month, and the Cheap Chirpers will JACKPOT each month if they are not chosen! SO FUN!

So far in the Cheap Chirpin prize box is: Chalking palette, Metallic wire, Whimsical paper clips, Pentel outline markers, Bag of mixed brads, ten sheets of bazzills, 39 pieces of chipboard lettering. Find all the posts for March and comment for your chance to win the chance on Cheap Chirpin CHOOSEday!!!! (Hint: Use the Cheap Chirpin labels on the side bar to find them!)

Thanks for playing, thanks for following, but most of all, thanks for your comments and for inspiring us!

Frosted Designs makes me want to do some Jitterbuggin too!

Settle in. I'm in my usual prattle-on-and-on mode.

Earth day is coming and Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge is all about re-using or re-purposing things in the home. I started my project this week but was so glad when this challenge was posted, as it re-motivated me to finish it!

Now my computer is telling me that "re-motivated" is NOT a word, but in the interest of scrappers worldwide... I think we should add it to the scrap lingo dictionary!!!! WHO's WITH ME??? ... too often we just need a little nudge to get through the tough part of a project.  I am officially re-purposing that word! Re-motivate me!

Earlier this week I was re-using the all forgotten CD cases as a new storage solution for my Peachy Keen Stamps... So this Frosted Designs challenge re-motivated me to finish the last few sets as a way of re-using my empty CD cases and my space effectively.

The above picture is also my entry for Jitterbuggin Bloom Where You Are Planted Challenge! This week they have a sketch challenge to add a cricut flower and some purple and pink!
I even added a bit of yellow pollen for their blushy cheeks!

I love seeing what the stamp looks like all chalked up, it's much easier to match to a picture when you are trying to visualise the stamp.  Inside view:

The photo below shows that I HAD magazines above my head... USELESS!!!

I'm not a see-and-copy kind of scrapper... I usually think outside the box that is outside another box!!! So magazines can go.
Not ONLY did I re-motivate myself to re-purpose my CD cases, I re-motivated myself to alter my re-purposed scrap table that I altered. It was from a computer desk from Office Works but I turned it into Scraplerium Scraptopia. (Yes, I made those words up, too).

I stuck some old CD Holder Thingys in -
(Please note: that is not the technical term).

And now I have my Peachies right where I can grab them!

PLUS - I also have my i-rock and watercolours underneath too now. Every spare millimetre accounted for. That's what I like!

Trumpet Intro:

SCRAPTOPIA!!!!

*such a beautiful sight*

Thanks so much Frosted Designs for the nudge I needed to get it done and also re-purpose my magazine section to a MUCH more user friendly system.

Thanks also to Jitterbuggin for the cute sketch and a chance to use some pink and purple! Too many boys in my house!
