Belle of the Bo Bunny! It's Playtime at One Stitch at a Time!

Second post today! Scroll down for a tutorial on SCAL or click HERE. If you are looking for Whimsical Wednesday Click HERE!
This is a double layout, but I am entering each page in a separate challenge. Page 1 - Bo Bunny Sketch   and Page 2 - One Stitch at a time Challenge #70.

 PAGE 1
Bo Bunny had a gorgeous sketch!
This is my cute Matilda. I say 'my' meaning my girlfriend Amy's. I never got to make a little princess of my own, but I am so blessed that my girlfriends share their cute little girls with me! Matilda got so excited when I went to visit her the other day.
I love her to pieces!

Here is the gorgeous sketch.
I love that I needed Bo Bunny's VickiB range's little pink alphas, because when I saw the combo stickers sheet, I just HAD to get matching papers. Plus the Bo Bunny stamp set of butterflies and corner flourish! They are so gorgeous!
But then I got home and thought... Oh yeah...that's right... no girl. Hmmmm... What photo am I going to use??? Because the ones of my son playing dress ups would be just all kinds of wrong.

Had to problem solve how to make the lines on the sketch. So I consulted the kitchen drawer and trusty Spatula said, "HELL NO! Haven't recovered from the last time I got dragged in that scrap room!" So consulted the tool box.
oooooooo.... welding shield.
*evil laugh* hahaha... come to the scrap side.

Then the combo sheet had everything else I needed!
Yep. She's lovely.

Now, if you get this Bo Bunny set and you own distress inks, you NEED these four colours, they match PERFECTLY!

Meow, if you own Distress inks and want my cutesy labels so you can see the colour all the way round, then save these below images to comp, stretch the image onto A4 and print on label paper. Cut and ink the strips and you can have OCD hotness too!
(Yep, I just said Meow. Just checking if your reading this)
Here are the labels. Hope they are high enough resolution, if not email me on contact button in my profile and I'll zoom them off. xx

Meow, if you think that's OCD...
Even my kids are a matching set today! New glasses!
Now, where was I ?? (Don't answer that! I will: RAMBLING, wayyy off track and annoying scroll buttons worldwide!)

PAGE TWO of my layout!
This is being entered in One Stitch at a Time. The challenge #70 over there anything goes, but use a digi.
The digi I chose is called PLAYTIME from Stitchy Bear Stamps. She is just so cute.

This kind of shows the iridescent paint I was Blahing on about yesterday. Camera is trying to make it up to me.
Bo Bunny matching stamp set with corner flourish and butterfly. Love it! She melts my heart.

Love that little excited squeal!

Meanwhile, back in BOY LAND... we are building a cubby. I can only imagine what kinds of goofy things will become my next scrap page... keeping my camera handy at all times.
Camera is tilted. This is not the Leaning Tower of Pleasethem.

Oil based primer... A scrap page just waiting to happen!

Thanks for great challenges Bo Bunny
and One Stitch at a Time!

  10. Hi Chloe,

These turned out stunning! Love the colors and the way you did the lines in the first one. Very creative! As for the picture of your son dressed up, keep that in a secure place as you may need to use that to keep his attitude in line when he becomes a teen! Think I'm kidding? It works! lol

I wanted to say thank you for the Peachy Keen stamps. They came in the mail today and I just love them!

  11. Wow, these LO's are so gorgeous and fun and perfectly reflect the mood of the photos!!!

Yep, I'm OCD too. My inks are kept in to go storage containers upside down. I cut squares of white paper, rubbed ink on them and taped them to the bottom of each of my inks. For my alcohol ink, I placed a drop on some white paper, punched a small dot and adhered to the top of each alcohol ink bottle. Now, I know just which bottle to grab. The labels just don't usually give the true color. I also have a page with all the colors printed out and a drop of ink next to each of the ones I own. I have all the distress inks, so I don't need a list of those I need~ LOL! ~ Blessings

  15. Your 2-page layout is just beautiful! Love the papers you used. I have my ink pads labelled using my label maker, but I will save your labels just in case. I love my label maker - if something in the house stands still long enough, chances are I will label it. LOL
