Hi Everyone! Whimsical Wednesday have got a
'USE YOUR SCRAPS' challenge on and you have plenty of time to enter. It closes on August 3rd. Even though it is not my design week, I couldn't resist using up some of my scraps!
So I keep my scraps in this:
*yawn* borrrring.
But now you are 'ooooo'ing right?
Took out EVERY single piece of scrap I had in colours sections
If the scrap piece was big enough and used my i-top punches to punch one of every colour:
Then layered them like flowers using a blind approach to matching them... free choice free loving hippy style!
Then I SCAL'd the background using two different coloured Cri-Kits pens.
Then cut the title using Bell Bottom Font in SCAL.
I am not usually a fan of using one photo on a layout. But on this particular night, you'll be glad you are only seeing one photo at the START of the night.

Make sure you join the fun at Whimsical Wednesday HERE!
Plus, for the blog hop this month, we had to make some wall decor for a nursing home. This was my 6 x 4 holder.
Well, I couldn't just send it with my pics in, so I went to LORi Designs and picked out an entire family of digi images and wanted to show you the finished product that I have sent:
Aren't they the cutest!
Love LORi's Lollipop Images and Puddle Jumpers.
I hope I wasn't too much of a

Wow, looooooooooove it!! AND am thinking you really aren't doing your OCD justice when you describe it! Love the scrap paper idea, I've just been thinking of how to arrange mine (I tend to waste so much, but scraps come in SO handy!!)... Love your idea and transportable is always a bonus too!
ReplyDeleteLove how you finished off the 6 x 4 holder too. Hope you'll make your parents one coz the photos in there sure were cute. As usual - love it!!
TFS!
What a fun layout! Love all of the flowers you punched out. It is amazing what we can do with our scraps, isn't it? If only I thought to use them more instead of just adding to them. :)
